Feilding Rotary welcomes SO Manawatu’s Stephanie Davies

Special Olympics Manawatu Athlete and Global Messenger, Stephanie Davies shared her story with 39 members of the Rotary Club of Feilding recently. Special Olympics NZ Chief Executive Kathy Gibson said “It was the largest crowd the Club had drawn so the members were certainly keen to hear about Stephanie’s achievements at the World Summer Games in Los Angeles and at the Trans-Tasman Tournament. You could have heard a pin drop in the room. Many members didn’t actually know what Special Olympics did so Stephanie certainly left the room with everyone fully on board.” Stephanie also promoted the forthcoming National Summer Games inviting Rotary members to attend the Equestrian competition which will be held at Manfeild Park in Feilding at the end of November.
